Fields of Becoming is a painting about hope — not loud or dramatic hope, but steady, unfolding hope.

A narrow pathway moves gently through a field of yellow blooms, inviting the viewer inward. It does not rush. It simply continues. The flowers stand vibrant against the deep greens, while expansive clouds gather in soft purples and blues above the horizon. There is movement in the sky, growth in the land, and direction in the earth.

The solitary tree anchors the composition — grounded yet alive — while distant hills fade into calm distance. The path becomes a metaphor: becoming is rarely instant. It is walked, step by step.
