About This Work

Dark Waters explores the quiet intensity of a storm at sea. Painted entirely in tones of blues, the shifting waves and distant sailboat reflect both isolation and resilience.

This piece holds personal meaning for me. I have returned to this subject many times — the sea in motion, the lone vessel navigating uncertain waters. To me, it speaks of the dark phases we all encounter, and the strength it takes to sail through them.

Even when the waters feel heavy, there is always movement forward.
